PX Hogshead
We’re delighted to present our seventh batch of single casks specially selected for the UK, each demonstrating the unique interaction of the wood, spirit, and subsequent flavour extension.
Armed with the knowledge that our complex and robust GlenAllachie spirit stands up well to aging in rich Sherry casks, Billy specially selected this PX Hogshead (2006 #6607). This Spanish oak cask has bestowed decadent notes of molten chocolate pudding, sticky raisins and sweet spices alongside a deliciously deep mahogany hue.
Bottled at 59.0%, unchilfiltered and natural colour, this expression is available exclusively in the UK.

Taste Profile
Bursting with almonds, treacle and brittle toffee, with notes of raisins, dark fruits, chocolate and baking spices.
Lashings of dark chocolate, toffee sauce and demerara sugar, followed by mocha, honey and treacle, with cinnamon and coconut shavings on the finish.
