Moscatel Barrique
We’re delighted to present our seventh batch of single casks specially selected for the UK, each demonstrating the unique interaction of the wood, spirit, and subsequent flavour extension.
With a passion for exploring the influence of interesting wood types on our spirit, Billy Walker specially selected this Moscatel barrique. Produced from a particularly aromatic variety of grape, Moscatel is a deliciously sweet dessert wine hailing from Spain. Maturation in one of these wine barriques (2008 #418) has created a gloriously bronzed golden malt, abundant with fresh fruits and runny honey, perfectly complemented by citrus aromas and hints of ginger.
Bottled at 56.7%, unchilfiltered and natural colour, this expression is available exclusively in the UK.

Taste Profile
Honeysuckle, butterscotch and ginger, with notes of orange peel, orchard fruits and grapefruit.
Lashings of white chocolate, soft cinnamon spice and lime zest, followed by sultanas, dark roast coffee and orchard fruits.
