THE GLENALLACHIE
Our 12-year-old won World’s Best Single Malt at the 2025 World Whisky Awards and is a staple for any drink cabinet. For something truly exceptional, the 17-year-old Mizunara & Oloroso Sherry Cask Matured, from our Masters of Wood collection, is a luxurious whisky for those who value craftsmanship and exclusivity.
Mizunara is a rare species of Japanese oak and is scarcely used for whisky maturation due to its high cost and inclination to leak. Paired with superior Oloroso sherry puncheons and hogsheads, it delivers an indulgent, complex single malt, perfect for the discerning connoisseur.
MEIKLE TòIR
Our Meikle Tòir range is unique, however, to that of the atypical Islay peated whiskies, as we have used mainland peat from St. Fergus. Using mainland peat offers a different taste to that of island peat since it’s formed from the degradation of trees rather than herbs and seaweed, which you don’t get on Islay. This therefore creates a much sweeter smoke style, which contributes to the unique flavour of the liquid.
The Sherry One was inspired by Billy Walker’s passion for sherry-forward whiskies. This core expression is matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, contributing rich, indulgent notes of chocolate, dark fruits, and roasted coffee.
WHITE HEATHER
White heather is a flowering plant found in rural corners of Scotland , and Scottish legend holds that it brings good fortune to all who find it. We like to think that anyone holding a bottle of White Heather is already among the lucky ones, for blends of this calibre are every bit as rare as our namesake. Our Jamaica Peated Rum was sourced by Master Blender, Billy Walker, from Southern Jamaica’s Clarendon Distillery and transferred to the cool Scottish Climate for maturation at The GlenAllachie Distillery. You can expect notes of ripe bananas, grapefruit, and butterscotch, with hints of mango, sugar cane, and vanilla. It was recognised at the Scottish Rum Awards 2025, taking home Gold, highlighting the exceptional quality and refined character of this expression.
Our multi-award winning Lum Reek Blended Malt Whisky combines Single Malts from Islay and Speyside – two of the most renowned whisky regions in Scotland – marrying both peated and unpeated spirit to create perfectly balanced and satisfyingly complex malts. Our 12-year-old was matured at The GlenAllachie Distillery in a combination of first fill Bourbon, Pedro Ximénez and red wine casks until the whisky reached its pinnacle. It offers sophisticated notes of sweet peat reek, warming mocha, Scottish heather and butterscotch.
