The GlenAllachie festival experience

Delve into our whisky-making processes with an in-depth tour through our production area. You’ll also be given an overview of Billy’s cask management programme and the opportunity to see and nose various casks kept behind our stillhouse*. Your experience will continue with a tutored tasting of four premium whiskies, including our limited edition Spirit of Speyside release.

*Please note: this tour does not include a visit to our warehouses.

Behind the scenes at the glenallachie

With 16 warehouses hosting around 50,000 casks, our Master Distiller, Billy Walker, spends endless hours carefully analysing the spirit within every cask, ensuring the whiskies meet the perfect balance between wood and distillery influence. This experience will take you on a journey through the behind the scenes of our production area and warehousing. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a tutored tasting, delving into a selection of our finest drams.

Art of blending masterclass with Billy Walker

Celebrate the work of legendary Master Distiller, Billy Walker, with a unique, immersive blending experience. After delving into the making of GlenAllachie, you’ll take on the role of Master Blender. Under Billy’s guidance, you will nose and taste your way through a carefully curated selection of whiskies, creating your own concoction. At the end of the day, you’ll leave with a personally curated 700ml bottle of blended whisky.

Meet the makers of the glenallachie

Hosted by our Brewer, Phillip Murray, and Warehouse Manager, Lindsay Cormie, you will be given the opportunity to deep-dive into the making of GlenAllachie. This immersive experience will take you on a journey through our mashing, fermentation and distillation. Next, you’ll be taken to one of our 16 on-site warehouses to see the team hard at work and view where our casks are left to slumber. A complimentary dram awaits at our distillery bar to conclude the tour.

Spend the evening with legendary Master Distiller Billy Walker and The GlenAllachie team in our bar. With a huge breadth of industry experience encompassing every aspect of operations, this relaxed experience will offer you a unique chance to have an intimate discussion, delving into the inner workings of GlenAllachie whilst enjoying the surroundings of our distillery. Canapés and drams will be provided throughout the evening to inspire conversation.

Join us in our distillery bar for an evening of pizza and drams as we team up with local pizzeria Planta. There is no entry fee or booking required; this is a walk-in event. Food will be served until 20:00, with the bar remaining open until 21:00.

Enjoy a dram in our distillery bar serenaded by talented local musician Chris Grant. There is no need to book this event; it is free and open to all.
