Mastery in Motion: The GlenAllachie 10-year-old Cask Strength Batch 13
In 2017, Billy Walker assumed stewardship of The GlenAllachie Distillery. Just over four years later, The GlenAllachie 10-year-old Cask Strength Batch 4 claimed the title of World’s Best Single Malt in 2021 – not only placing the distillery firmly on the whisky map but cementing Billy Walker’s standing as one of the industry’s true masters.
Now in its thirteenth iteration, The GlenAllachie 10-year-old Cask Strength stands as the finest expression of this whisky yet. At the heart of our philosophy is a belief: we do not strive for consistency, but for perfection. With each batch, we reach further, pursuing what is possible rather than what is repeatable.
In this new bottling, all the character of previous releases remains, only deeper, richer and more assured.

The GlenAllachie Core Collection
The GlenAllachie core collection showcases the finest expressions housed within our 16 on-site warehouses, built upon one philosophy: the masterful interplay of multiple cask types. Master Distiller Billy Walker pairs instinct with meticulous craftsmanship, building each age-stated expression to life in its perfect composition.
The collection embodies The GlenAllachie’s distinctive Speyside character – a testament to quality assured by Billy Walker, a whisky veteran of over five decades whose name stands among Scotland’s most revered figures in whisky-making history.
THE WHISKY
This multi-award-winning Speyside sipper is bottled at its natural cask strength for full flavour delivery. Our Master Distiller Billy Walker carefully finesses every small batch, striving to better the last.
The youngest age-statement in our core range, yet wonderfully balanced with a powerful punch and undeniable presence. On the nose, the whisky delivers mocha, crystalised ginger, cinnamon, mānuka honey with treacle and maraschino cherries, while the palate presents cocoa, salted caramel, baking spices as well as blood orange, glazed blackberry and fig syrup.
We present this core range expression in its most honest form. Bottled at cask strength of 59.8%, with no added colour and non-chill filtered – as close to drinking straight from the cask as possible, uncompromised and unadorned.

cask combination
The whisky was elevated through maturation in Pedro Ximénez Sherry, Oloroso Sherry, red wine and virgin oak casks. With a deep chestnut hue, a lively nose and a punchy palate, expect a dram that captivates the senses.
Pedro Ximénez Sherry: Made with very ripe white grapes of the same name that were air-dried to concentrate the sugars and lower the water content, Pedro Ximénez is a dark, sweet style sherry with a thick consistency and is known to impart notes of dark fruits, chocolate and baking spices.
Oloroso Sherry: Subjected to extensive oxidative ageing without a ‘flor’ yeast layer, Oloroso is the darkest dry Sherry style and is made from white Palomino grapes. Renowned for its pronounced nutty, dried fruit qualities, Oloroso roughly translates to ‘fragrant’ and is full-bodied and complex in character.
Rioja Red Wine: From Spain’s most renowned wine region and crafted from grapes aged in oak barriques, Rioja develops richness and complexity through careful maturation, imparting notes of cherry, plum, vanilla and leather to the whisky it matures within.
American Virgin Oak: Prized for its distinctive influence, imparting notes of vanilla, caramel, warm spice and subtle sweetness to the whisky it matures within, creating expressions of notable depth and character.

The GlenAllachie 10-year-old Cask Strength Batch 13 is available now from The GlenAllachie Distillery and online at www.glenallachie.com with a UK RRP of £74.99. It will become available globally at specialist retailers in the coming weeks.
