Our award-winning Visitor Centre offers a range of tours and tastings, with something to suit every level of knowledge. We also have a state-of-the-art whisky bar & tasting lounge that boasts substantial outdoor seating, ideal for an alfresco dram. Let’s not forget the well-stocked distillery shop packed full of all The GlenAllachie Distillers brands, with some hard-to-find limited editions and very special distillery-exclusive expressions, including the opportunity to hand-fill your own bottle straight from the cask.

Our spacious bar and tasting lounge boasts a wide range of core and limited edition spirits from The GlenAllachie Distillers portfolio, as well as bespoke tasting flights, mixers, and locally made beers and soft drinks. The space also includes substantial outdoor seating with exceptional, uninterrupted views over Ben Rinnes.

This area operates on a walk-in basis. If you’ve got a group of six or more, please contact us at visitors@glenallachie.com, and we’ll try our best to accommodate your requirements.

Please note: we do not currently offer hot food in our bar; we have a small selection of snacks on sale.

THE GLENALLACHIE EXPERIENCE

£25｜1 hour, 30 minutes｜Daily｜Over 18s only

In this insightful experience you will learn about the skill and care that goes into crafting whisky at GlenAllachie. Led by our expert tour guides, you’ll see every part of the whisky-making process and discover what makes our spirit so unique, then gain an understanding of how the innovative use of casks is so important at GlenAllachie. Afterwards, you’ll sample some examples of our award-winning range, showcasing our distinctive honeyed Speyside style.

Should you wish to enjoy a more in-depth tasting, there are options to add tasting flights of our Distillery Exclusive bottlings or our peated Meikle Tòir range. These can be added when booking.

THE WAREHOUSE DRAMS

£55｜2 hours | Daily April - October｜Over 18s only

A rare and exclusive opportunity to taste whisky drawn directly from the cask in our dunnage warehouse.

Join one of our experienced guides on a short walk to Warehouse 16, The GlenAllachie’s traditional dunnage warehouse, normally closed to the public. Here, you’ll sample whiskies hand-selected by Billy Walker – each chosen to illustrate the craft, character and care behind every bottle we make. Your experience concludes back in the Visitor Centre, where you’ll enjoy our exclusive hand-fill bottlings.

TASTINGS

Daily｜10am - 4:30pm｜Over 18s only

Our knowledgeable team will be happy to organise a tasting from the GlenAllachie, Meikle Tòir and MacNair’s ranges in our bar, be it one dram or something more extensive. Contact us for a group booking or just drop in.

THE SINGLE CASK TASTING

£40｜1 hour｜Mon - Sat | November - March｜Over 18s only

Explore the effects of time and wood on our Speyside spirit with a tasting experience of our exclusive Single Casks. In the warmth of our tasting lounge*, you’ll have the unique opportunity to enjoy a carefully curated selection of drams, including Single Casks from our archives that were selected and released for markets around the globe, along with bottlings available exclusively at our distillery shop.

*Please note: this tasting does not include a tour of the distillery or warehouses.

We strongly advise booking all tours and experiences in advance online via this page. Only ticketholders are permitted to join our tours and experiences. The bar & tasting lounge operates on a walk-ins basis. If you’re looking for large group bookings or bespoke experiences, please contact us at visitors@glenallachie.com, and we’ll try our best to accommodate your requirements.

We are committed to the promotion of responsible drinking and our Drivers’ Packs ensure all visitors can sample our whiskies when they leave and are safe to do so. Drivers will have the opportunity to nose the drams, before receiving sample bottles to decant the whiskies to enjoy later. Please let us know whilst making your booking if you are or are booking on behalf of a driver.

We kindly ask visitors to arrive 10 minutes before the start of their tour and ‘check-in’ with a member of our team in the shop. Latecomers are not guaranteed their tour space.
